It just doesn’t get any better than this. Charlie Daniels’ new release from Koch Records. Songs From The Longleaf Pine, “bats 1,000” in the ballgame of great bluegrass gospel music. You gotta get these hits loaded into your ‘puter, car player or ipod. From the opening number, with Charlie reading a New Testament scripture of John 3:16, before he begins Walkin’ in Jerusalem with it’s snappy rendition, by the time the CD is over, you’ll believe you’ve been to church, been back and baptized. Charlie’s put together a CD that reaches out and touches the soul, by blessing everyone with these great bluegrass gospel tunes.

With bluegrass gospel legends such as Ricky Skaggs, Earl Scruggs, The Whites, Ronnie McCoury, and Mac Wiseman, the project is packed with all-star talent. This is bluegrass gospel music for everyone who knows the old songs and loves singing along.
