Together in one form or another for better than 18 years, the group is anchored by married couples Stephen & Rosetta Schmidt and Orie & Sharon Conley. Stephen is a talent multi-instrumentalist - guitar, fiddle, Dobro, and pedal steel. He also showcases his vocal and songwriting skills; We Call Him Grandpa is an original number from Stephen. Rosetta contributes lead and harmony vocals. Orie is also a multi-instrumentalist. He provides guitar, mandolin, and bass – as well as some lead vocals. Sharon plays the upright bass. Also on the album are Vivian Schmidt, singing lead and harmony vocals, and Nelson Miller on banjo. This CD is well-packaged and is an enjoyable listen. It gets off to a good start with an excellent version of Light At The River and holds the momentum right on to the last number. BMP
