CONNIE LEIGH
Hillbilly Girl
BY SAMANTHA STURM

Connie Leigh has emerged into the bluegrass world with tear jerkers, gospel numbers and plain wonderful music. She features a very talented fiddle and mandolin player by the name of Tim Crouch to join her along with beautiful backup vocals by Becky Coffee. Cover songs such as Muleskinner Blues, I’ll Go Steppin’ Too and Gold Watch & Chain make this album a wonderful addition to any collection. Original songs also make up this album such as the amazing Please Love My Baby. Very well arranged to give the listeners a lot of different emotions through all of the songs, upbeat, a sad song and then right back into the swing of upbeat again. Other Connie Leigh originals include Who’s Cryin’ Baby, The Cheater’s Game, I’ll Be Here Waiting For You, Behind Those Big Closed Doors, Hell’s Vision, Don’t Act, and I’m Gonna Be A Hillbilly. BMP
