Wow! What a thrill to watch 13 versions of Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver on one stage - War Memorial Auditorium in Nashville. You'll see and hear 32 bluegrass gospel tunes including many a capella numbers. High points include the Quicksilver band consisting of Jim Mills, Jesse Stockman, Russell Moore and Ray Deaton. Another standout is the version consisting of Steve Gulley, Barry Abernathy, Dale Perry and Owen Saunders. As Doyle reminisces about the group's history in chronological order it leads up to the last configuration consisting of Terry Baucom, Jamie Dailey, Barry Scott and Jesse Stockman (Mike Hartgrove couldn't make the filming!). The present group wraps up the evening with song of the year Blue Train (Of The Heartbreak Line) and Knee Deep in Bluegrass. BMP
