What do you get when you put top bluegrass pickers, vocalists, and songwriters together in a group? You get Grasstowne - a hot bluegrass band comprised of Alan Bibey on vocals and mandolin, Steve Gulley on vocals and guitar, Phil Leadbetter on vocals and resophonic guitar, Jason Davis on banjo, and I am particularly excited that Grasstowne drafted one of my favorite bassists, Jamey Booher, vocals and upright bass, who left his great family band The Boohers, to become part of this exciting new group. Bibey, Davis, Gulley, Leadbetter, all made tough decisions like that too, but like baking a cake, when you mix all the right ingredients together - you get something delicious. BMP
