Steve
Gulley
Sounds Like Home
Lonesome Day Records
BY GRACIE MULDOON
Prolific
songwriter, musician, and vocalist extraordinaire Steve Gulley does it all with
such flair. He takes us back to his home base of Renfro Valley, Ky. to release
his first solo project. He even salutes his own dad by bringing him in on a cut.
There isn’t a better voice around to sing bluegrass or country songs and Steve
is well known for his incredible intonations. He can croon a soft ballad or pump
up the pace with a dynamic presentation! The songs he writes are creative with a
freshness and still a familiarity that speaks to his audience. Songs include
You Couldn’t Pay Me To Care, Livin’ It Down, Big Rock In The Road, Little So &
So, It Ain’t the Leavin’, Prepare To Meet Thy God, My Elusive Dreams, No Not
One, Mountain Heart, Cheater Of The Year, Another Day, Nearer My God to Thee,
Grand Tour, and All Alone.
